Multinational - Desert to Power Technical Assistance Program Phase II

DtP Phase II comprises support for project preparation and the creation of enabling frameworks, including for mini- grids, as well as capacity-building. The USD 5.03 million second phase of the DtP TA (DtP II) builds on a SEFA- funded technical assistance program (TA) of USD 5.05 million that was approved in December 2020 (DtP TA Program Phase 1), which has supported studies on the integration of variable renewable energy generation into interconnected and fragmented grids and completed at the end of 2024 in the Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali and Mauritania.
