Food grain marketing in Northern Nigeria: Spatial and temporal performance

This paper examines spatial and temporal aspects of marketing efficiency for the traditional marketing system for millet and sorghum in part of northern Nigeria. Analysis of these price relationships in many cases indicate excessive intermarket and seasonal price increases. Some reasons are given for these excessive intermarket and seasonal price increases.
