Industrialization and Kinship: A Comparative Study of Some Nigerian Ethnic Group
This paper is an analysis of three Nigerian ethnic groups, their kinship structures, and their efforts at industrialization. We argue that in Nigeria, kinship and historical development have necessitated alternative approaches to industrialization, which do not comply with the Western model of urbanization and the transition to - nuclear families.
