Leisure reading among the undergraduates of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko, Nigeria

The study examined the leisure reading habits among the undergraduates of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Nigeria. A total of 756 undergraduates randomly selected from the existing four faculties of the University were used as research subjects. The subjects were exposed to a “Students Reading for Recreation Instrument” (SRRI). Three hypotheses were postulated. The data was analysed using percentages and chi-square statistics.
