Chapter 13: Protecting Ethnic Minorities in Nigeria's Niger Delta
The presence of a resource like oil which is the mainstay of a multi ethnic state in the lands of minority peoples is guaranteed to generate conflicts as to the ownership control and benefits of the exploration and exploitation of the resource.
