Old-Age Security Provision and Life Satisfaction among the Elderly in Nigeria

How security provision impacts on life satisfaction at old age in Nigeria is not well understood. This has become essential in order to improve preparation for old age and to formulate comprehensive social security system for the elderly. Quantitative data was collected through individual-based questionnaire, involving 810 respondents. Multi-stage sampling procedure was employed to select local government areas, enumeration areas and individuals for the study.
