THE EFFECT OF TAXATION ON MICROECONOMIC GROWTH IN NIGERIA

The study aims at ascertaining the effects of taxation on microeconomic performance in Nigeria from 2002 to 2011. Data were collected from secondary sources. Three hypotheses were tested using ordinary least squares regression method. The implication of the findings showed that government earnings from taxation will affect consumer spending and boost output production level.
