The Role of Christian Religious Organisations in Community Development Programmes in Cross River State, Nigeria

This paper investigated rural-urban differentials in the role of Christian religious organisations in Community Development Programmes (CDPs) in Cross River State. Adopting the survey method, 150 churches were selected from 6 Local government Areas, comprising 3 urban and 3 rural communities across the 3 senatorial districts of Cross River State. Questionnaire was used to generate primary data, and descriptive statistics was employed for data analysis.
