Cost Implications and Profitability of the Artisanal Fish Smoking Enterprise

Descriptive statistics, content analysis and cost, return and profit functions where used to analyze the profitability of the artisanal fish smoking enterprise using fish directly captured from Oguta lake, Nigeria. Fresh fish was purchased from both fishermen and retailers and smoking was done in a completely local way to mimic the exact experience of the fish generally sold in the market.
