AN EXAMINATION OF SOME PROVISIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF CRINUNAL JUSTICE ACT, 2015

The Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 (hereinafter referred to as the ACJ ACT) became operational on the 14\" of May. 2015 when it was assented to by the then President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. The ACJ Act seeks to. inter alia, address the problem of delay in the criminal justice administration in Nigeria. The Act has repealed the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC). the Criminal Procedure Act (CPA) and the Administration of Justice Commission Act respectively.
