Effect of Freedom Monitoring Tool on Students’ Social Media Addition and Academic Performance

This study investigated the effect of freedom monitoring tool on social media addition and academic performance of university undergraduates. Three null hypotheses guided the study. The study adopted an ex-post-facto research design to determine how freedom monitoring tool affect students’ social media addictive behavior and academic performance. The sample for the study was made up of 98 students from the Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka who accepted to be part of the study.
