Basic activities of daily living and associated factors among the older adults in a tertiary care center, South-East Nigeria

In Nigeria, the older adults are neglected, and much attention (if any) is not given to them in terms of their overall health and well-being, thus making them vulnerable. The process of aging is affected by a variety of factors, including family dynamics. The various changes that occur as a result of these factors increase the vulnerability of individuals to life-threatening diseases, dysfunctions, and possible death.
