Intelligence Governance and the Dynamics of Insecurity in Fragile Democracies: A Comparative Study of Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Mali
The research investigates intelligence governance practices in three nations Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Mali which each experience insecure conditions because of insurgents and bandits and jihadist organizations. The study uses secondary data to conduct a comparative analysis which examines how intelligence systems operate through three different security force development stages and their impact on state institutions and security services.
