Domestic Debt Structure, Interest Rate and Economic Growth in Nigeria (1990–2023)

This study empirically examines the impact of domestic debt on economic growth in Nigeria over the period 1990–2023. Specifically, the study evaluates the inpact of domestic debt, debt servicing, and interest rate on economic growth proxied by Real Gross Domestic Product (RGDP). Annual time series data were obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Statistical Bulletin and analyzed using modern econometric techniques.
