Religious Orientation, Self-Regulation and Psychological Wellbeing Among Correctional Officers in Benue State, Nigeria

This study investigated religious orientation, self-regulation and psychological wellbeing among correctional officers in Benue State. The study employed cross-sectional survey design where the participants were 210 correctional officers. They consisted of 158 (75.2%) males and 52 (24.8%) females. Their ages ranged from 25 – 58 years with a mean age of 40.90years (SD=5.16).
