External Debt Management and the Nigeria Economy (1981 - 2023)

This research looked at Nigeria to see how the country's economy grew and how its debt was managed between 1981 and 2023. It made use of secondary data retrieved from the CBN Statistical Bulletin, 2023 edition. With Real Gross Domestic Product growth (RGDPG) as the dependent variable and indicators of external debt (EXTDS), EXTDSP, and the External Debtto-GDP Ratio (EDGDPR) as the independent variables, this study aimed to quantify economic growth between 1981 and 2023.
