Case Numbering, Crime Management and Effective Police Administration in Rivers State

This paper investigated case numbering, crime management and effective police administration in Rivers State. The need for this study emerged since there have been no proper documentation for case numbering and crime management which has been undermined effective police administration. Some of the constraints to this, were due to inadequate funds, lack of technological infrastructure, corrupt practices among some junior levels of rank-and-file officers who often takes bribe illegitimately.
