Compounding in Mada Personal Names

The study explores the phenomenon of compounding in Màda personal names, examining the structural and semantic properties of these compounds. A descriptive method was used to analyse personal names. The study established that personal names in Màda have compound stems, which are formed by the fusion of different stems. The study discovered that the formation of such names in Màda consists of the compound structure: noun + noun, noun + verb, and noun +adjective.
