Development Interventions and the Development of Niger Delta Region

This study examined the impact of development interventions on poverty alleviation, employment opportunities, and livelihood wellbeing in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The study adopted a survey research design to obtain a snapshot of respondents’ views and attitudes at a specific point in time. The population consisted of residents of the Niger Delta region, with a total of 180 respondents drawn from six states, representing 30 residents from each state.
