Non-Life Insurance Premiums and Capital Formation in Nigeria

This study examined the impact of non-life insurance premiums on gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) in Nigeria from 1990 to 2024. Using annual time series data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, NAICOM, and the World Bank, the research disaggregated non-life insurance into five categories: accident, employers' liability, fire, marine and aviation, and motor insurance premiums adopting the Ex-post facto research design.
