Changements politiques et innovations rituelles/cérémonielles chez les Abisi (Piti) et les Rukuha, Nigeria
This article describes the innovation brought about by an external political power in the traditional cycle of ceremonies of the Abisi and the Rukuba of Central Nigeria.The Abisi which were subdued last century by the Hausa, devised in reaction to this an elaborated ritual aiming at making a scape-goat of the mediator they had to choose in order to deal with the foreign power.
