Comparing nations: The developed and the developing worlds

This text on comparative politics surveys 4 developed countries -- the United Kingdom France West Germany and the Soviet Union -- and 4 developing countries -- Nigeria Egypt Tanzania and Chile. The text allows a comparison of the political institutions and political patterns and introduces students to nation-states that have not been traditionally treated in comparative politics courses.
