Conflict resolution: the case of Nigeria and Sudan
Discussion of the resolution of conflict in the southern Sudan in comparison with Nigeria. The essay contains two parts. The first one deals with the Nigeria-Biafra conflict and describes in detail the way this conflict was settled by force. The second part describes the conflict between the Sudanese government and the southern Sudanese autonomy movement, which was resolved by negotiation. - Notes.
