Democracy, Good Governance, and the Phenomenon of Corruption in Nigeria

Democracy is a concept that has been recognized as an acceptable mode of governance. Embedded in this idea however are different approaches with respect to the attainment of this objective. The faults’ inherent in some of these approaches led to the recognition of ‘good governance’ as a more acceptable concept in the description of the governance concept.
