This edited volume focuses on the evolution of Nigeria's foreign policy, particularly, in the post-Cold War era. At the very outset, the editor provides readers with a long history of Nigeria's political instability. Since independence in 1960, Nigeria has witnessed one civil war, seven military regimes, and three failed democratic experiments.
