Challenges for Surveying in the Establishment of International Borders

SUMMARY This paper examines the role and challenges of surveying in the delimitation and demarcation of international borders and the contribution to capacity building in the nations concerned. The importance of well established international boundaries is now widely accepted as a stepping stone to social stability and economic development.
