Tackling Corruption in Nigeria Using Social Studies and Other Agents of Socialization

Corruption has become endemic in Nigeria, affecting almost all facets of the society, thereby thwarting the effort of national development. The thrust of this paper therefore, is to see how corruption can be brought to its barest minimum if not totally eradicated using Social Studies and other agents of socialization. In doing that, the paper defines the concepts of corruption, Social Studies and Socialization. Discourse on the causes of corruption and the effect on national development is made.
