This study examines the migration of Nigerian immigrants to Cameroon’s South West region from 1961 to 2024. It specifically analyses the push-and-pull factors that drove Nigerian migration to the South-West Region of Cameroon. The paper posits that the migration of Nigerians to the South West Region of Cameroon was influenced by changing historical, political, economic, security, social-cultural, and demographic factors in both Nigeria and the South West Region from 1961 to date.
