Implications of Contributory Pension Scheme on Serving Police Officers in Nigeria

The study assessed the implications of contributory pension scheme on serving police officers in Nigeria. The Contributory Pension Scheme has brought insignificant anxiety, low morale, and fear of post-service poverty among serving police officers in Nigeria. As many retirees receives meagre monthly pensions often that fail to provide a dignified life, resulting in widespread demands to exempt the police from the scheme and establish police pension board.
