Industrial relations and wage determination: failure of the anglo-saxon model
In this paper we shall examine the character of industrial relations in Nigeria and the nature of its influence on the country's political economy. Part I describes the institutional setting and the structural features of the trade union movement, and reviews certain aggregate measures of the system's performance.
