The state and industrial relations in Nigeria
The intention of this article is to examine the nature, purpose and scope of state intervention in labour-management relations in Nigeria. The development of state intervention will be traced from the colonial days with a view to determining whether there has been any radical departure from the philosophy of the colonial administration. An effort will also be made to evaluate the effectiveness of this intervention both now and in the past.
