The essay is the three parts. The first part deals with issues/indicators for the need of the continuing professional education (CPE) for librarians working in law libraries. The next segment of the essay discusses the introduction of the CPE programme: objectives, whom is it designed for? etc. Reasons for choosing the faculty members are analysed.
