387 MD/9 | Miscellaneous Shipping Records. | John Holt of John Holt & Co. to Thomas Welsh, Esq., Lagos. The Chamber of Commerce has received a cable from the Chamber [at Lagos] against a proposed blockade, but urging a naval demonstration. Holt has no news of blockade and has written to Lord Knutsford for information. He thinks a concentration of troops will also be necessary.
