Approves of his sending the warship to Lagos, even though it turned out to be a false alarm. Admiralty have sent orders for immediate reprisals if any Barbary corsairs attack English merchant ships. Approves of his conduct with `Mons. Lescary' and the packet-boat. Date and place: 1728 July 30 Hampton Court.
