This paper presents the findings and recommendations of a research project entitled Capturing UN Preventive Diplomacy Success: How and Why Does It Work? The project was led by the Centre for Policy Research at the UN University,1 in collaboration with the UN Department of Political Affairs and with support from the UK Permanent Mission to the UN.
