PPG-Accelerating Nature and Climate Action to Advance Nigeria’s Net Zero and ‘30x30’Targets
The objective of the Global Environmental Fund Project Preparatory Grant is to develop the project concept :Accelerating Nature and Climate Action to Advance Nigeria’s Net Zero and ‘30x30’Targets in Nigeria into a full project. As described in the project concept and in line with Nigeria’s commitment to carbon neutrality by 2060, the project takes an integrated approach to create a Net Zero Nature Positive pathway and to achieve large-scale emission reductions in the energy and AFOLU sectors, which together account for 85% of Nigeria’s GHG emissions
