In particular, DBN was conceived by the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) in collaboration with the AfDB (who oversaw the implementation process) and other global development partners to help address the constraints facing Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) seeking to access stable and competitively priced sources of medium to long-term funding in Nigeria.
