The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (“NSIA” or the “Authority”) is the statutory investment institution and fund manager of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. NSIA was established by an Act of the National Assembly (the “NSIA Act”) in May 2011 as a vehicle for actualising Nigeria’s Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) aspirations. The Authority is mandated to receive, manage, and invest fiscal savings on behalf of the three tiers of government - Federal, State and Local - in a diversified portfolio of medium and longterm assets.
