COURT OF APPEAL STAYS EXECUTION OF JUDGMENT ORDERING DEREGISTRATION OF FIVE POLITICAL PARTIES

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has ordered a stay of execution of the judgment of the Federal High Court that directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deregister five political parties, pending the determination of appeals filed against the decision.
