JUDICIAL ARM The leader of the Judiciary, Hon. Justice Kudirat Motonmori Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun, GCON was appointed as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria on the 23rd of August, 2024 and was subsequently confirmed by the Senate as the Chief Justice of Nigeria on the 25th of November, 2024. She took the judicial oath of office and was sworn-in as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the 30th of November, 2024.
