West and Central Africa - Burnt Area Rasters
Monthly and annual burnt area 300m rasters are calculated from 2018 onwards. The source data is the Burnt Area (BA) product from COPERNICUS Land Monitoring Service v4 (300m resolution), reprocessed to extract bushfire occurrence statistics. https://land.copernicus.eu/en/products/vegetation/burnt-area-v4-monthly-300m The data used comes from the data generated by the COPERNICUS terrestrial service, the European Commission's Earth observation programme.
