Alleged $2.33m Money Laundering: Court Grants Miyyeti Allah Leader Bodejo ₦2bn Bail
Justice I.E Ekwo of the Federal High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja, on Monday, July 20, 2026, granted the leader of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo bail in the sum of ₦2 billion with two sureties in like sum. Justice Ekwo held that the two sureties must be responsible persons. One of the sureties must own landed property within the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC. He further directed that one of the sureties must present evidence of tax clearance certificates for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025.
