EFCC Commences Investigation of Two Suspected Oil Thieves in Uyo
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Uyo Zonal Directorate, have begun investigations of two suspected oil thieves: Moses Michael Mufans and Abba Sunday, who were arrested for allegedly dealing in petroleum products without the requisite licence. They were arrested at Ikot Ekpene on November 4, 2025, by a Joint Task Force team of Officers from the 2-Brigade Nigerian Army Military Cantonment, Mbiokporo, Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and handed over to the Uyo Zonal Directorate of the EFCC on Friday November 7, 2025.
