SCUML Emerges Nigeria’s Most Effective Regulatory Agency of the Year 2025
The Special Unit Against Money Laundering, SCUML, of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, was declared Nigeria's Most Effective Regulatory Agency of The Year 2025, in Abuja. Governance Today Nigeria, in collaboration with African Independent Good Governance Monitoring Network, AGMN, gave the award to the Unit for its "contribution to the fight against money laundering and countering terrorist financing through its regulatory standpoint".
