Two Bag Jail Terms for Internet Fraud in Lagos
The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction and sentence of two internet fraudsters, Rauf Rokeeb Abayomi and Odeh Godspower, before Justice Dehinde Dipeolu of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos. The suspects were arraigned on June 28, 2024 on separate charges bordering on internet fraud, contrary to and punishable under Section 22(3) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention etc) Act, 2015.
