Arthritis is a leading cause of chronic pain, disability, and reduced quality of life globally, with significant prevalence in Nigeria. Patients with arthritis frequently experience comorbid depression and anxiety, which exacerbate pain perception, impair functional ability, reduce treatment adherence, and worsen overall outcomes.
