Prevalence and Pattern of Road Traffic Accident and Injuries among Commercial Motorcyclists in Sokoto Metropolis, Sokoto, North-Western Nigeria

Motorcycle accidents contribute significantly to the number of road traffic accidents (RTAs) in many cities in Northern Western Nigeria. This study was carried out to determine the prevalence and pattern of RTAs among commercial motorcyclists in Sokoto metropolis Nigeria. A descriptive, cross sectional study was carried out among commercial motorcyclist’s riders in 2014 in Sokoto metropolis Nigeria.
