Antibiotic STewardship Education for Pharmacists (A-STEP): a pre-post intervention study in Nigeria

This is a pre- and post- intervention study to promote antimicrobial stewardship amongst pharmacists and medicine vendors in Nigeria. Due to the huge burden of AMR-related morbidity and mortality in this country, we will use broader and cohesive engagement and methodologies, to introduce and test an intervention aimed at combating AMR and improve antimicrobial stewardship, specifically targeting the widespread practice of over-the-counter antibiotic dispensing.
