Tehran Friday Sermon: We'll Hold Nigerian Government Responsible for Fate of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky

Iranian Assembly of Experts member Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said in a July 26, 2019 Friday sermon in Tehran that the current predicament of prominent Nigerian Shiite scholar Ibrahim Zakzaky, who is in critical medical condition in the custody of the Nigerian military, is the "handiwork" of the Saudi and Zionist regimes. He said that Iran is opening its arms to provide Zakzaky with medical aid, and he stated that the Nigerian government will be held responsible for whatever fate befalls Zakzaky.
