Abstract This paper examines the shift from digital literacy to digital leadership as a critical pathway for preparing youth for ethical innovation in the era of artificial intelligence (AI). While digital literacy equips young people with the technical skills needed to use digital tools, it does not sufficiently address the ethical, social, and leadership responsibilities required in an AI driven world.
